Description
Miscanthus sinensis Serengeti ('Sica 20'®)
Miscanthus Serengeti surprises us time and again throughout the year by showing itself very differently.
Early in the season, the relatively wide bright white veins form a beautiful contrast and radiate light into the narrow-leaved glossy green low-leaf wig of this plant.
In the course of August, long flowering stems emerge from the petiole, which in the sun, sometimes slightly differently, turn from soft, warmer or darker to a striking bright red. These colors remain intact for a long time.
When autumn colors appear on the plant in October, they enrich the overall picture into a richly varied color palette.
The winter image of miscanthus Serengeti is also very beautiful. In milder winters, some parts of the plant remain green for a little longer.
Very hardy plant that thrives in a wide variety of conditions.
A sunny position is desirable for the most beautiful colors.
Height 1.30-1.60.
