Description
Pennisetum orientale Maxima
Pennisetum Censation™ Maxima is a beautiful early flowering, long flowering and very rich flowering plant.
When you see this Pennisetum bloom, you immediately think of a waterfall. Censation™ Maxima is very graceful, fluid and elegant with its pendulous flowers that bloom from early summer to winter. It has ivory-colored flowers with a light pink hue, from which new ones are continuously produced over the course of the season.
The Censation™ Maxima makes a great impression in the garden and has great ornamental value, also as a container plant in the pot on the patio or terrace.
This Pennisetum is semi-hardy, but can survive a not too (long) harsh winter in our garden climate.
Depending on the size of the tub or pot, the height can vary from 0.60 to 1.20 m. In the garden, and certainly perennial, the plant grows significantly taller.
